Most PAM solutions were designed over a decade ago centred around a vault – perpetuating the use of shared privileged accounts (the “keys to the kingdom”). Delinea’s Identity-Centric approach brings PAM into the twentieth century, enforcing a “never trust, always verify, enforce least privilege” approach based on modern Zero Trust principles. Administrators request privileged access only when necessary. Approvers grant or deny this access based on who is requesting it, the context of the request, and the risk of the access environment. To keep the attack surface small, these extra rights expire after a limited time period.
