Bitnami Premium is a new commercial upgrade to the Bitnami Application Catalog and Helm charts. It will provide enterprise support for all 500+ Bitnami Premium packages, and will include unlimited pulls of all Bitnami Premium containers and Helm charts from Docker Hub, and maintain up-to-date long term support branches of all Bitanami application packages.

What is happening to the free Bitnami Application Catalog?
Bitnami by VMware will stop subsidizing unlimited pulls from Docker Hub as of December 16, 2024. At that time, the BItnami Application Catalog and charts will be subject to the same limits as any other Docker Hub repos. Additionally, long term support branches of the software we package will no longer be maintained in the Bitnami Application Catalog.
Will I still be able to access the free Bitnami Application Catalog?
Yes. Bitnami by VMware Tanzu is committed to continue delivering free Bitnami Application Catalog content to its community of developers and other open-source project maintainers over the long term. However, the free community version of Bitnami catalog will be subject to the default, standard pull limits set by Docker and long-term support will be ended as of [January 31, 2025].
Why is Bitnami changing its model?
The changes will enable Bitnami to deliver a premium product experience to its enterprise users who will benefit from support and security metadata, but who do not need the extensive customization that is core to Bitnami’s other commercial. It will also allow Bitnami to invest in more options for organizations looking to expand their Bitnami Application Catalog usage.
How can I ensure uninterrupted use of the Bitnami containers?
Enterprise users are encouraged to upgrade to Bitnami Premium. Pulls of Bitnami Premium containers and Helm charts do not count towards your Docker Hub pull limits or overages and updates for LTS branches of packages will continue.. To upgrade to Bitnami Premium, users can create an account with Arrow and purchase new packages through the ArrowSphere Cloud Marketplace.
