We recently had the pleasure of hosting the Equinix Partner Event, organised by Arrow at the impressive McLaren Technology Centre in Woking. The event proved to be a remarkable occasion, blending cutting-edge technology discussions with a deep dive into one of the most iconic brands in motorsport.
Attendees were treated to insightful presentations from industry leaders at Equinix, shedding light on the latest innovations and offerings, including Platform Equinix and the Equinix Partner Programme. A highlight of the day was the engaging Q&A session with Dan Keyworth, McLaren Racing’s Director of Business Technology, where participants had the opportunity to explore the intersection of technology and racing.
The event also included an exclusive guided tour of the McLaren Technology Centre. Guests enjoyed a comprehensive overview of McLaren’s history and brand legacy, followed by an in-depth exploration of their state-of-the-art Formula 1 Facility. Going behind the scenes allowed attendees to witness firsthand the meticulous processes and advanced engineering that define McLaren’s racing prowess.
The day was rounded off with a private dining experience, where connections were strengthened over a shared appreciation for innovation and excellence. Attendees were delighted by professional framed photos with a McLaren F1 car, as well as exclusive merchandise to take home, serving as lasting reminders of an unforgettable day. And as we were waiting for the lift to take us back down to the main reception and transported back to our cars, none other than Lando Norris himself walked straight by our guests, fresh off the back of a 5th place finish at the Austrian Grand Prix 2 days before!
