Helping organisations respond to incidents more effectively
On Tuesday 8th October 2024, Commvault launched their first of an incredible 40 global SHIFT events at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, with a huge number of announcements and updates, including new cybersecurity capabilities with leading OEMs.
Palo Alto Networks Cortex XSOAR
Commvault now allows you to unify IT and Security teams by leveraging the combined insights and visibility of Commvault and Cortex XSOAR by Palo Alto Networks.
Commvault's deep integration with Cortex XSOAR helps to streamline complex security operations and efficiently maintain a robust security posture. Anomaly alerts enhance visibility for SecOps teams, enabling them to identify risks and fortify backup data against potential threats.
You're also able to improve collaboration between backup and SecOps teams by providing essential context and insights between Cortex XSOAR and Commvault. You can also save time and accelerate incident response with automated actions in the Cortex XSOAR platform, without any requirement to access multiple interfaces.
Active Directory Forest Recovery
Also announced at the London SHIFT event was a complete solution for protecting and restoring your entire AD infrastructure.
The Active Directory Forest Recovery workflow is a predefined solution to sequence the restore of multiple domain controllers including the system state data if a disaster occurs. Administrators can now configure the Active Directory Forest Recoveryworkflow directly from the CommCell Console.
It works by taking the latest system state backup and restores the domain controllers and other system state data in-place on your client computer.
When the backup and restore operations are successful, the workflow sends an email to the user that executed the workflow.
