On Tuesday 8th October 2024, Commvault launched their first of an incredible 40 global SHIFT events at the Park Plaza London Riverbank, with a huge number of announcements and updates, including its Pure Storage collaborate.
Commvault's partnership with Pure Storage enhances security for enterprises using Pure’s storage solutions. Together, the two companies have developed a joint solution that delivers advanced data protection features, addressing both security and compliance needs, including key requirements from cybersecurity regulations like the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
This solution combines storage encryption, compliance locks, and immutability features, making data tampering or unauthorised access virtually impossible. It also incorporates AI-driven anomaly detection and cyber deception technology, which identifies potential threats in real time and misleads attackers by presenting decoy data targets.
For customers, this partnership strengthens defences against cyberattacks and data breaches. Additionally, it helps organisations meet stringent regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance while maintaining robust data security.
