핫스왑 컨트롤러

Hot swap controllers provides circuit protection from many potential hazards caused by abrupt changes in the power supply.  This type of IC can monitor overvoltage and undervoltage conditions and open and close switches very quickly to protect sensitive circuits when an unsafe power condition is detected.  Additionally, some controllers may have advanced features such as timers, current limiters, level shifters and other supervisory functions to aid in safe power up and power down when the power is abruptly removed or activated.
