Panel PCs
A panel PC is typically embedded within or mounted on a wall, board or cabinet to provide easy access and utilization. They are also self-contained units, similar to tablets, with all of the components necessary for operation built within the single panel structure and a touch screen for direct input. They differ from tablets in their durability, input and output such as USB, Ethernet and serial ports. They also differ in specs. Panel PCs are larger and more advanced and get their power from an outside source, not a self-contained battery. Essentially a panel PC is designed to provide as close to the operational ease of a desktop PC system as possible within the constraints of its size and structure.Panel PCs can play a very large part in the industrial world, where they can easily be mounted next to machinery or tools that either require monitoring or control or are built to be durable.
