Panasonic's AMG8854 is a specialized, high-precision infrared sensor array. Based on Advanced MEMS technology, this ROHS-compliant device can detect temperatures in a two-dimensional area and is appropriate for applications such as people counting, factory automation, and home appliances like microwaves or air conditioners. The AMG8854 version is a low gain, 5V version of the sensor with an operating temperature range of -20 to +80°C.
