The ATECC608A-MAHCZ-S from Microchip Technology is a cryptoauthentication device with secure hardware-based key storage that offers protected storage for up to 16 keys, certificates, or data. It also includes hardware support for asymmetric agreements, for symmetric algorithms, and for network key management. Finally, a high-quality internal random number generator and guaranteed unique 72-bit serial number round out its security features. This device is suited to encryption for small messages, ecosystem control, and IoT applications involving network endpoint key management and exchange.
