The FRDM-KE15Z Freedom Board 

The FRDM-KE15Z Freedom Board by NXP is a development board design to boast the capabilities of the MKE15Z256VLL7 MCU, which comes in a Arm Cortex 100LQFP package on-board.  The development board itself is designed to be used in standalone board or as the mainboard of FRDM-TOUCH, FRDM-MCLVBLDC, and Arduino Boards.  The microcontroller boasts up to 256KB Flash memory and 32KB SRAM to manage the I/O pins for the board.  The on-board interfaces include an RGB LED, a 6-axis digital sensor, a 3-axis digital angular rate gyroscope, an ambient light sensor, and a capacitive touch slider. The board is also compatible with a 3.3v or 5v power supply to even further enable its use with other boards.  

The board comes ready with a quick demo to showcase it's onboard accelerometer but can quickly be jump started with your own design files through the Kinetis SDK.  The Kinetis Software Development Kit is free and includes any source code you will need to get started!
