The Molex 1054500101 is an USB 3.1 type C connector is a top mount right angle connector when mounted a PCB.  The 1054500101 is designed with PCB retention posts making it an ideal choice for applications ranging from smartphones to tablet designs that have regular connects and disconnects. The wide temperature range of -30°C to +85°C allow the connector to operate in a range of environments. The gold plated terminations significantly improve solder ability as well as conductivity. Rated for 10,000 mating cycles ensures the longevity of the connector while the SMD nature of the connector makes it ideal for typical reflow production techniques. The 1054500101 is fully RoHS and REACH compliant for use in the EU as well as being a low-halogen product.
