Connect your Arduino to the internet in minutes with the Arduino Ethernet Shield 2. Plug this shield onto your Arduino Board and connect it to your network with an RJ45 cable (not included), follow a few steps and you’ll be able to work through the internet. Compatible with the Arduino Uno and Mega (using the Ethernet library).

 

The Shield is based on the Wiznet W5500 Ethernet chip, which provides a network (IP) stack capable of both TCP and UDP and supports up to eight simultaneous socket connections. The Ethernet library can allow you to write sketches that connect to the Internet using this Shield. There is also an on-board micro-SD card slot which can be used to store files for serving over the network.
