Product Description

The Particle Shield Shield is the easiest way to incorporate Arduino shield compatibility into your Particle-based project. The Shield Shield transitions the 3.3 V operating voltage that is standard to Particle devices to the 5.0 V logic common among Arduino and other similar electronics to prevent either product from burning out. This is thanks to the Texas Instruments TXB0108PWR converter. The Shield Shield is powered by 7 to 15 V voltage sources, but can also be powered via USB, all because of an embedded voltage regulator.

PLEASE NOTE: the analog pins of the Shield Shield, unlike most standard I/O pins, can NOT receive 5.0 V inputs/outputs, and are only rated to 3.3 V for the associated Particle products.
