STMicroelectronics offers the BAT54-Y portfolio of automotive-grade AEC-Q101-qualified rectifiers ideal for a variety of automotive applications. This qualification means they undergo a strict screening along various steps of production, guaranteeing compliance to even the most stringent international automotive quality requirements. The BAT54-Y series uses 40 V Schottky barrier diodes packaged in SOT-23 or SOT-323. These rectifiers feature low conduction and reverse losses, extremely fast switching, and are guaranteed at a junction temperature as low as -40°C. Applications for the BAT54-Y family include battery chargers, inverters, reverse polarity protection, and HID lighting.
