Use this triac BTA08-400CRG thyristor manufactured from STMicroelectronics as a bistable switch in your circuit, and keep it on with a forward-biased voltage. This device has a surge current rating of 84 A. In order to ensure parts aren't damaged by bulk packaging, this product comes in tube packaging to add a little more protection by storing the loose parts in an outer tube.
