Bourns‘ High Clearance/Creepage Distance Isolation Power Transformer Model HCT Series offers a superior solution. These new transformers are capable of supporting isolated interface power for CAN, RS-485, RS-422, RS-232, SPI, I2C, and lower power LANs, and are also well-suited to supply isolated power to Gate Drivers.  Isolating interface power is a requirement for Industry 4.0 and low/medium risk medical (sensors, communication PHYs, RS-485, metering) designs. It is also needed in circuits requiring low DC power and any application that requires isolation from potentially hazardous voltages such as from a high voltage battery.
