M12 POWER circular connectors are protected against mismatching:
- S-coded for AC supply up to 16 A/630 V
- T-coded for DC supply up to 12 A/60 V
- K-coded for AC supply up to 16 A/630 V
- L-coded for DC supply up to 16 A/63 V
- M-coded for AC supply up to 8 A/630 V

AC Applications:
The M12 POWER S, K, and M codings are designed for AC applications such as the power connection of a three-phase motor. The M coding also supplies 5- and 6-pos. loads with up to 8 A and 690 V.
DC Applications:
The T and L codings are used for low-voltage DC applications, such as supplying power to decentral I/O modules or DC motors. The 4-pos. L coding is available with an additional functional ground contact as an option. Up to 16 A can be transmitted at a voltage of 63 V.
Reliable Shielding and Grounding:
Use a totally protected shield and PE connection in your power cabling. Advanced Shielding Technology from Phoenix Contact optimizes the current design of M12 connectors. Liquid metal that completely encloses the cable shielding during the manufacturing process enables the reliable and safe operation of your systems. The cohesive 360° shielding not only provides improved EMC protection, but also increases performance. The liquid metal also establishes the connection from the PE contact to the metallic-conductive M12 knurl. Advanced Shielding Technology thus ensures greater safety and reduces the risk of fire in the event of a short circuit.
Consistent Power Cabling:
Use M12 POWER cabling to power motors and devices easily and safely in the field. In addition to connectors for assembly and assembled cables, the M12 POWER range also includes flush-type connectors and distributors.
You can cable numerous loads quickly and clearly using the M12 POWER distributor box. The Y-distributors enable efficient double assignment of the slots.
Choose from a range of assembled versions and cable qualities. With straight and angled designs in both shielded and non-shielded versions, we provide the right connector and corresponding cables for every demand. The power cables are available in PUR and PVC, and in cross sections from 0.75 to 2.5 mm².
You can wire different cable lengths flexibly on site with connectors for assembly. Shielded and unshielded M12 POWER connectors are available in straight and angled versions for reliable power transmission. They are assembled via the proven screw or compact crimp connection technology.
Our M12 POWER device connectors enable a consistent architecture. You can thus also supply compact devices with high power. The device connectors are available as pin and socket versions with flying leads or as one-piece and two-piece versions for direct PCB mounting.
All supplied components are 100% electrically tested by Quality Assurance in accordance with IEC 61076-1-111 and approval with UL 2237.
