Optocouplers transfer electrical signals between two isolated circuits using light. The CNY173VM Optocoupler from ON Semiconductor is both UL- and VDE-recognized and offers an exceptionally wide operating temperature of -55 to +100 °C.
The device’s input-output isolation voltage is rated at a minimum of 7500 Vac(pk). The CNY173VM is suitable for diverse applications including:
