This LDO LP2996M linear regulator from Texas Instruments is used to manipulate the voltage level of your circuit. This voltage regulation device's single output can produce a current up to 1.5 A. It only needs a voltage of at least 2.2 V while not exceeding 5.5 V to effectively power your circuit.
