A simple current trigger will turn on this triac T1220T-6I thyristor manufactured from STMicroelectronics and a forward-biased voltage will leave it on. This device has a surge current rating of 95 A. In order to ensure parts aren't damaged by bulk packaging, this product comes in tube packaging to add a little more protection by storing the loose parts in an outer tube. Its repetitive peak forward blocking voltage is 600 V, while its repetitive peak reverse voltage is 600 V. This SCR thyristor has an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 125 °C.
