Thanks to Texas Instruments, you can now modulate the voltage entering your circuit using their TL494IDR voltage mode PWM controller. With an output that has a voltage of 40(Max) V, this is power management at its best. Its 2 PWM outputs produce a current of 200(Max) mA. This voltage mode driver supports boost|buck|flyback|forward|full-bridge|half-bridge|push-pull topology. This part offers a switching frequency of 300 kHz in order to work properly.
