Grove Starter Kit v3 Description

The Grove Starter Kit v3 gives users convenience and rapid prototyping by providing Grove modules to the Grove Shield, which contains a multitude of sensors and actuators, and can be assembled without the need for soldering or breadboarding.

The Grove Starter Kit has sensors that support audio, light, motion, tactile, and other interaction modes. Grove is a ready-to-use set that takes a building-block approach to assembling electronics. The Grove Base Shield is compatible with Seeeduino v3.0 (168p and 328p), as well as the Arduino Uno and the Duemilanove.

The Base Shield has 16 Grove ports that is divided into four functional areas: analog (4), digital (7), I2C (4), and UART (1), giving you many options to use. The Base Shield Hardware is shown below (Source: Seeed Technology):
