Bosch presents the BME280, a combined digital humidity, pressure, and temperature sensor. This unit provides proven sensing technology in an amazingly small footprint: 2.5mm x 2.5mm and a height of less than 1mm.

Due to its incredibly small size and low power requirements, the BME280 is especially well-suited for portable applications and battery-driven devices like watches or handheld scanners. Use the BME280 to measure three important conditions:

• The humidity sensor provides a lightning-fast response for contextual response applications.

• The pressure sensor detects absolute barometric pressure.

• The high-resolution temperature sensor can achieve temperature compensation for the other two sensors, as well as estimate ambient temperature.

Activate each sensor manually or on a programmed schedule.
