The Grove Tilt Switch from Seeed is essentially a tilt activated button switch wired to the SIG line. 5V with simple high/low output, but it’s Arduino and Pi compatible. Upright it makes a connection. Tilt it, and the connection is broken.
Price: $1.68
The tilt-switch twig is the equivalent of a button, and is used as a digital input. When the switch is left open, and when tilted, the switch closes. It is wired to the SIG line, NC is not used in this twig. There’s a surface-mount resistor.
