Since 2003, Boundary Devices has been providing high quality single board computers and custom design services to the embedded market. We specialize in low power, fanless, network connected multimedia devices. All operating system and peripheral driver development is done internally, providing much-needed software support to get customers to market quickly.

Product Highlights

Our Nitrogen family of single board computers was designed to expose the most common interface requirements. Customers can take the existing board to market, or use the board as a development kit prior to committing to a custom design.

Nitrogen6X

The Nitrogen6X board is based on the Freescale i.MX6 processor and features a wide variety of peripheral interfaces. Multiple flavors of the Nitrogen6X exist including with WiFi+BT, 2GB of DDR3 memory, or industrial temperature range.

Nitrogen6X_SOM

The SOM is ideal for customers looking for rapid product development while maintaining the flexibility of a custom design.  The Nitrogen6X-SOM has a wide variety of peripheral options including Gigabit Ethernet, multiple display channels, and PCIe.  Design your own carrier board or contact us for a custom carrier board quote. 

Nitrogen6_Lite

The Nitrogen6_Lite is a slimmed down version of our popular Nitrogen6X board. Featuring the powerful i.MX6 Solo processor from Freescale, the Nitrogen6_Lite is an extremely versatile single board computer with a wide variety of connectivity options.
