Ethernet finally goes the distance: Connectors for Single Pair Ethernet from Phoenix Contact

Phoenix Contact has launched compact device and cable connectors for the Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) standard. The standardized SPE interfaces are ideally suited for efficient data transmission in factory and process automation.

Single Pair Ethernet delivers parallel, high-performance transmission of data and power via Ethernet over a single wire pair through Power over Data Line (PoDL). Connectors for Single Pair Ethernet reduce the cabling of various components and are the foundation for future-proof Ethernet communication from the sensor to the cloud.
