On the cutting-edge of electric vehicle (EV) technology is Littelfuse’s S8016xA series. Designed for the on-board chargers (OBC) of said vehicles, these Teccor-brand thryistors are capable of handling 100-250V line AC and act as input rectification for the DC batteries in electric vehicles. Using the S8016xA line, electric vehicles can be charged with a regular wall socket instead of costly, EV-specific chargers. The series features two mounting customization options, surface and through hole, to best suit your EVOBC system.
