Compact High-Performance Wireless/Bluetooth Connectivity: Silex SX-SDMAC-Plus

Published By

Silex Technology is a global leader in wireless connectivity options. Their newest combination wireless module is the compact SX-SDMAC-Plus.

Based around the QCA-9377, the premier Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection SoC (system-on-chip) from Qualcomm, the SX-SDMAC-Plus is a dual-band IEEE802.11a WLAN and BLE SDIO module that is designed to condense both system space and cost, all while providing high-performance wireless connectivity for your IoT (Internet of Things) system.

Silex’s SX-SDMAC-Plus is optimized to deliver the best results in the most economical (<25 mm2) package. The module features 2412 to 2472 MHz and 5810 to 5825 MHz on each of its WLAN frequency bands thanks to a sleek Xtal crystal oscillator that provides high Tx power, which ultimately gives it better performance and coverage. Additionally, Silex has created a library of operating system drivers to help you get your design to market easier, with OS such as Windows, Android and Linux, as well as an ath10k kernel for open-source developers. FCC/IC/CE/MIC certified, the SX-SDMAC Plus is sure to provide your IoT solution with efficient wireless connectivity.
