TE Connectivity’s FASTON Receptacle Connectors

TE Connectivity’s FASTON products have been an industry leader in the appliance and automotive industries for years. TE continues to reinvent the FASTON product line to meet the changing trends in these, and other, industries. TE Connectivity FASTON Receptacle Connectors feature low insertion force, have a maximum operating temperature up to 250°C (nickel-plated steel), and meet specifications even after six mating cycles.

Today’s trends call for lower insertion forces, higher performance, and higher temperature ratings within the FASTON product family. In response, TE Connectivity (TE) has introduced several new products specifically designed to meet these requirements. These new products come with the same strong engineering support and high quality that TE has provided for over 60 years.

The TE Connectivity FASTON Receptacle Connectors are crimp-style quick-disconnect connectors that require an insertion force of 6 lbs. (27 N) on the first connection and still meet specifications on the sixth mating cycle. The FASTON connectors are available in two materials, with the tin-plated brass being UL-rated up to 125°C and the nickel-plated steel being UL-rated to 250°C.
