New 0.5-mm Fine Pitch Mate-to-self Connectors from TE Connectivity

Published By

TE Connectivity is a connection industry juggernaut, expanding their wide selection of connector headers with their new Hermaphroditic Connector series. The 0.5-mm fine pitch connectors are “mate-to-self,” an ideal aspect for optimizing inventory management systems by saving both time and cost. The new members of TE Connectivity’s connector family can weather demanding applications, such as high-volume retail scanners or large military, automotive, and industrial inventory operations.

TE Connectivity’s new hermaphroditic connectors are designed to be reliable, no matter the situation. With a broad -40 to 125 oC operating temperature range, the self-interlocking header/receptacles offer a UL94V-0 flame-resistant construction, and their dual-point contacts and four guidance posts give the connectors both better precision and a longer operating life. A 50 V rating and a 500 V dielectric withstanding voltage round out the connectors’ reliable design, ensuring efficient and consistent operation for your inventory management system.
