New from Bourns Inc., comes the TCS Evaluation Board. This unique development kit is designed to operate and test Bourns’ TCS series of high-speed protector (HSP) TVS diodes to ensure that the surge suppressors are right and ready for use in full-scale systems.
The TCS Evaluation Board is a combination of three individual testers than can be detached and easily incorporated into a design to test a signal line’s protection. Each tester features one of Bourns’ dual-channel TCS series HSP diodes to determine which diode will best suit your system. The TCS Eval Board also sports an additional pair of ESD suppressing chips, Bourns’ CDSOD323-T05C. While in use, the board limits a system’s current based off the HSP selected (choice of 250, 500 and 700 mA min. current) and provides a low impedance for up to two signal lines.
Bourns’ TCS Evaluation Board is an ideal choice for incorporating ESD protections into any prototype, and assisting you in scaling up the design to full commercial use.
