Flex Suppressor from KEMET is the antidote to electromagnetic interference (EMI) in your applications. Unlike a conventional metal shield, the Flex Suppressor provides protection by absorbing electromagnetic energy.
It can be applied directly to the components or sub-circuits to be protected, in between circuit boards, or bonded to the inside of an enclosure. It can also be wrapped around cables or used to enclose flat-flex interconnects or even applied to the perimeter of an aperture to minimize unwanted radiation.
Design-in is straightforward, and the material can be attached quickly and easily without introducing complex assembly processes or requiring dedicated tooling. This flexibility makes it an elegant and practical solution to a wide variety of interference-mitigation applications.
