Samsung Electro-Mechanics automotive series, released a new MLCC: reverse 0204 inch 1.0µF 2.5V/4.0V

0204 inch (0.5×1.0mm) size, X7T (-55 to 125℃), capacitance of 1.0µF at rated 2.5V/4.0V

  • SEMCO developed and started mass production of CLL5Z105MS21PN# and CLL5Z105MR41PN#, both reverse multilayer ceramic capacitor applicable for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) / Autonomous Driving (AD) of automobiles.

  • This product has the advantage of reducing ESL by 50~70% compared to the existing 0402 inch (1.0×0.5mm) size, 1.0µF.
  • As the number of SoCs applied in vehicles expands due to the high functionality of automobiles, the need for low ESL products that can stabilize calculations in the high-frequency area is increasing.
  • Samsung Electro-Mechanics developed two types of 1.0µF products by applying its own ceramic, electrode material atomization and ultra-precision lamination method:
    • 0204-inch (0.5×1.0mm) size, rated 2.5V, 0.20T (LSC* Type)
    • 0204-inch (0.5×1.0mm) size, rated 4.0V, 0.43T (DSC** Type)
