AD9081: MxFE® Quad, 16-Bit, 12 GSPS RFDAC and Quad, 12-Bit, 4 GSPS RFADC

The MxFE integrates multiple 28 nm RF data converter cores and includes configurable DSP blocks making the device a strong solution to various use cases.

The instantaneous channel bandwidth of up to 2.4 GHz provides the flexibility to select the band(s) of interest or process a very wide frequency. DSP processing blocks can filter and select desired frequency bands. Processing such large amounts of data requires the ability to easily convert using the JESD204 interface standard and interface to standard FPGAs. 

Ease of use characteristics include a complete suite of application programmable interface software enabling the ability to quickly configure the MxFE. An on-chip clock PLL (multiplier) allows the user to select a low frequency clock reference for lower overall component cost. Only two voltage supplies are required making the power management solution simpler.
