Panasonic has released a new collection of high-capacity and high-endurance storage media solutions: the TA Series microSDHC, the TC Series microSDHC/SDXC, the UA Series SDHC, and the UC Series SDHC/SDXC memory cards. Each series in this product lineup offers 3D NAND Flash technology for reliability and low risk of BOM changes with low overall cost per GB (in comparison to 2D NAND Flash technology). The full product lineup also offers Bad Block Management as well as Static Wear leveling algorithms for evenly distributed wear.
The TA Series microSDHC and UA Series SDHC memory cards feature a microSD UHS-1 interface for Class 10, UHS-I U3 speeds and storage capacities of 4 GB, 8 GB, 16GB and 32GB with an overall endurance rating of 20,000 program/erase cycles. These memory cards also feature built-in Power Fail Robustness to minimize data loss if the SD Card loses power while writing data. The TA Series and UA Series microSDHC/SDHC Memory Cards are recommended for write-intensive applications.
