i.MX 6SLL Evaluation Board
The i.MX 6SLL application processor is targeted to HMI, home energy management systems, portable medical, and a variety of smart applications. To get started developing with the i.MX 6SLL subseries, NXP offers the i.MX6SLL-EVK. This evaluation board features the 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 core, 400 Mhz LPDDR3, 2 SD card sockets, display and audio interfaces, and it’s even compatible with their MCIMX28LCD touchscreen. There are additional development resources for the i.MX6 sub-series including the IMX6ULL-EVK and IMX6Ultralight evaluation kits.

i.MX7 Evaluation Boards
To help developers build applications faster with the i.MX7 processor series, NXP offers the Smart Application Blueprint for Rapid Engineering (SABRE) board. The SABRE board features the i.MX7Dual ARM Cortex-A7 and Cortex-M4 processor for enhanced security and power optimization, which are very valuable features for IoT applications. The supporting software allows users to run Linux or Android on the A7 core, and FreeRTOS on the M4, which gives developers free reign over the HMP architecture.
