Lose the screws — go screwless

With poor connection believed to be the source of almost half of all system failures, there has never been a better time to get a fail-safe method of connection.

Advantages to using a screwless connection

Tool-Free Connection
The Push-In CAGE CLAMP® ensures a quality connection through precise, consistent contact that does not require the use of special tools.

Save Time
The wiring time of WAGO Screwless technology is up to 264 % faster compared to manual wiring of screw terminals.

Reliability
The Push-in-CAGE-CLAMP® spring is protected by the top of the cage and by a positive stop on the insulating housing, preventing overstressing. This ensures that the clamp is not damaged during operation.

The Push-in CAGE CLAMP® automatically adapts to dropped strands and changing wire dimensions and easily copes with the consequences of temperature fluctuations due to heating and cooling of the contact parts. The resulting connection is 'gas-tight' and prevents the unwanted ingress of corrosive gases.

Jump-Seal
Unlike screw terminals, WAGO Push-in CAGE CLAMP® connections do not need to be checked or tightened for loose connections caused by vibration, temperature changes or settling strands.

PCB terminal blocks’ low profile enables uniform LED light distribution

A broad family of surface-mount terminal blocks from WAGO enables manufacturers of LED modules and drivers to make a compact and low-profile PCB connection. With minimizing shadowing, LED luminaire manufacturers achieve a uniform light distribution.

WAGO’s range of SMD PCB terminal blocks includes one-, two-, and three-pole devices, the 2059, 2060 and 2061 Series: with these blocks in three different sizes for wires from 0,14 to 1,5 mm², terminal strips of different lengths can be assembled without pole loss, reducing the number of variants and lowering production costs.

The range also includes the 2070 Series SMD PCB terminal blocks which provide for rear wiring and reduce component height on the LED side even more to just 1.1 mm. By shifting the wiring completely to the rear the assembly of ultra-flat luminaires can be simplified.

The new 2065 Series provides greatest termination capability in an ultra-compact design. Without insulation housing and just 2.7 mm tall it accomodates solid and flexible conductors from 0,2 to 0,75 mm².

The WAGO products with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® connection technology support push-in termination of solid conductors. An operating tool makes opening the clamping unit easy when terminating fine-stranded conductors and removing all conductor types.
