How wireless solutions are making gaming, your home, your car and more secure and connected

From industry’s first secure Tri-Radio device to the next generation of ultra-low-current multiprotocol wireless IoT components and a highly integrated Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2 System-on-Chip (SoC) for low-cost connectivity, NXP covers all relevant standards and possible applications.

NXP advances IoT Connectivity with Industry’s First Secure Tri-Radio Device
The NXP IW612 is industry’s first secure tri-radio device supporting Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and 802.15.4 protocols. The new device enables seamless, secure connectivity for smart home, automotive and industrial use cases, and supports the groundbreaking Matter connectivity protocol. The IW612 integrates three of the industry’s leading connectivity radios onto a single device for the first time, ushering in a new era of interoperability.

High Performance, Secure and Low-Power MCU for Zigbee®, Thread™ and Bluetooth® LE 5.0 with High Tx Power
The K32W0x portfolio will power the next generation of ultra-low-current multiprotocol wireless IoT devices with support for IEEE 802.15.4 mesh network protocols Zigbee and Thread as well as Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0. This portfolio also supports Matter, the unified IP-based application layer to work across ecosystems being developed by the Connectivity Standards Alliance.

EdgeLock SE051 – part of the Certified EdgeLock Assurance program

EdgeLock SE050 Plug & Trust secure element family, supports applet updates in the field and delivers proven security certified to CC EAL 6+, with AVA_VAN.5 up to the OS level. Designed for the latest IoT security requirements, it uses NXP’s proven Integral Security architecture 3.0, which includes various countermeasures against the most recent attack scenarios. For easy design-in, the EdgeLock SE051 comes with extensive software enablement, already known from the popular EdgeLock SE050 device, including the JCOP operating system (OS), a preinstalled IoT applet and the Plug & Trust support package.

IW416: The highly integrated Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2 System-on-Chip (SoC)
IW416 enables low-cost connectivity, supporting a 1x1 SISO Wi-Fi operation in the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz band. The SoC provides a full-feature Wi-Fi subsystem with a peak PHY date rate of 150 Mbit/s. In addition to classic Bluetooth features, the IW416 enables Bluetooth 5.2 capabilities including Low Energy (LE), LE long range, LE 2 Mbps, and Periodic Advertising Sync Transfer (PAST).
With integrated transmit (Tx) PAs, receive (Rx) LNAs and Tx/Rx switches for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios, the IW416 simplifies design allowing quick integration of either dual or single-antenna operation.
