Parallax Incorporated
Parallax designs and manufactures the Propeller Multicore Microcontroller, a parallel-processing embedded processor, sensors and educational robots. For over 20 years the company has produced the most popular robotic educational products for middle- and high school levels. The company's tutorials are designed to meet Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards and use both Blockly visual programming and C language. Parallax's specialty is in microcontroller education with a focus on circuit building, embedded programming and student-oriented projects. Additional products made by Parallax include motor controllers, laser and ultrasonic sensors, RFID readers, RF devices and IoT hardware.
