New from industry leaders in high quality electronics, Analog Devices Inc., comes the ADIS17001. The ADIS17001 is a compact vision sensing camera evaluation board with USB 2.0 connectivity for applications such as single-board computers. Based around Analog Devices’ Blackfin® ADSP-BF707 processor, the ADIS17001 provides logarithmic image sensing and crisp image quality thanks to an embedded triaxial accelerometer for optical image stabilization (OIS) and impact/tilt detection.
Analog Devices’ ADIS17001 is an all-in-one evaluation system. The board’s ADSP-BF707 processor has a dual 32-bit and complex 16-bit MAC engine, as well as branch prediction, cache enhancements and additional support instructions, which flesh out the ADIS17001’s ability to provide sensitive imaging. The evaluation kit also includes an interposer board for connecting the main board to an SBC or other USB system, as well as a USB connection cable, an ICE-1000 debugging emulator, a license for CrossCore Embedded Studio and, of course, two lenses: one 67o FOV (field of view) and one 110o HFOV (horizontal field of view).
For integrating vision sensing imaging into your SBC system, the ADIS17001 is a surefire way to easily incorporate high-quality functionality from Analog Devices.
