Power by Linear is the power management division of Analog Devices Inc., and has recently released a new low power, zero-drift op amp (operational amplifier) called the LTC2066. The 100kHz LTC2066 is designed to provide high resolution measurements at an extremely low 10 µA supply current maximum. This makes the LTC2066 ideal for measurement devices for industrial or medical environments, as well as wireless mesh signal conditioning.
The Power by Linear LTC2066 is optimal for these types of applications due to several defining characteristics. The rail-to-rail op amp features self-calibrating circuitry that provides very low input offset and offset drift (5 µV and 0.02 µV/oC maximum, respectively). The LTC2066 also offers high precision and an ultralow quiescent current that gives it the capability of acting as a signal chain building block. The LTC2066 touts several options to be incorporated seamlessly into your design, including two operating temperature ranges: industrial (-40 to 85 oC) or extended (-40 to 125 oC), and packaging: 6-lead SC70 (5.3 mm2) or 5-lead TSOT-23 (8.1 mm2).
