Watch a live demo of the Infineon Aurix TC297 Microcontroller in this short and informative video.
Watch a live demo of the Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) Motor Control using cellular communication with Neutron Redline, a rapid engineering development system, for the first and second-generation Infineon Aurix Microcontroller. This demo setup includes an Infineon TC297 Microcontroller that is connected to a Neutron Redline carrier board, a 4G cellular communication board, a power supply board, and two BLDC motor control boards. The equipment used in this demo includes off-the-shelf BLDC motors with all sensor feedback and the Aurix capture compare unit 6 (CCU) for motor control.
In the demo, an Android application is fired up to see how the application communicates with the Aurix CCU to get the motor states, specifically in the case of a fail-safe or redundant system. Get a closer look at what happens when the redundancy mode is enabled, and how that affects two motors running at the same time, including how backup control is used to make sure the system works as it should.
