Description

  • Dimmable MR16 Lamp Development Kit, ATtiny24A-based dimmable MR16 LED driver module allows you to develop MR16 or equivalent lamps. The kit comes with a power supply module and an LED board. The circuit is a two-stage switched-mode power supply consisting of a boost converter followed by a constant-current buck converter. Both of these topologies are implemented digitally in a single ATtiny24A microcontroller. The circuit operates with leading- or trailing-edge dimmers. Input can be 12VDC or 12VAC from an electronic or magnetic transformer. The design is flexible and scalable and works with different LED configurations. Firmware used to pre-program the ATtiny24A is available through local Atmel sales offices
