Analog Devices’ ADN4624 family: 5.7 kV RMS, quad-channel LVDS, 2.5 gigabit isolator

With an aggregate bandwidth of 10 Gbps, the ADN4624 family allows for improved resolution for video and imaging, robust extension of high speed signals between processing nodes and backplane.

The ADN4624 family also offers protection from EMC transients with gigabit isolation for analog front ends, all with ADI's trusted safety and data integrity

Key Features and Benefits

Provides up to 10 Gbps total bandwidth in a single small footprint device and directly isolates high speed serial LVDS (or CML) at full speed
Precision timing for high speed with <1 ps rms random jitter and <16 ps skew delivers full ADC performance and resolution when isolating precision ADC sampling clocks
Robustness with options of 2.5 kV to 7.5 kV provide reinforced isolation at main voltages and large transients

Applications

Instrumentation and measurement: analog front ends, ATE, test and measurement
Healthcare: medical imaging, high fidelity video, display ports for medical PCs/equipment
Industrial automation: motor control and machine vision systems, display ports for industrial PCs/equipment

Evaluation Board

The ADN4624 can be evaluated with the EVAL-ADN4624EB1Z.
