Hello Everybody.  We are here today to present the SCM, the single chip module from NXP.  The SCM is the fruit of the technology collaboration between Arrow and NXP where NXP provides us the unique automated 6 technology and Arrow take care of the integration of the LPDDR on top of the automated 6.

The SCM is an extremely integrated solution since it integrates more than 100 passive components ,the SPI Nor Flash, the power management device, components, and the i.MX6, the DDR and DDR2 in a very constraint space of 14 per 17 millimeter and it is unique on the market.

The SCM has unique selling features that the i.MX6 6 cannot offer, like the extremely fast time to market.  We all know important being on the market prior competitors.  The size, 14 per 17 millimeters saves space on the board.  Another important selling feature is the thermal arrangement.  The power consumption is extremely low which has less problems dissipating heat.  It also reduces the complexity of the design, since the DDR2 and the PMIC, which are the source of many design issues are integrated into the chip.  These are some of the unique selling features of the SCM.
