The Molex Fit families are expanding to include the smallest connector in the family. Nano-Fit connectors delivers 6.5A of power, but are smaller than Micro-Fit 3.0 connectors with a 2.5mm pitch. These connectors are ideal for use in automotive interiors, consumer appliances, industrial manufacturing, medical, lighting, and telecommunications networking.
Don’t be misled by its small size, this is a power connector. The fully isolated contacts provide electrical separation and are protected from damage during handling and assembly. The split beam terminal design provides very low mating force while retaining strong normal forces at the contact points. The advanced terminal design features an enclosed locking tang to protect the product in shipping and handling. This unique contact design offers multiple points of redundant current paths for long term performance and reliability.
Housings are colored coded to allow the use of multiple headers of the same circuit size on the same PCB. To aid in assembly, mechanical keying eliminates the chance of mis-mating. Positive lock latches and optional TPAs help Nano-Fit connectors maintain a strong connection and keep the power flowing.
