Optical liquid analysis in a flash with ADPD4101

Photometric data is becoming increasingly important because it allows for the rapid and accurate evaluation of health quality and industrial safety. In this video, learn how the ADPD4101 enables rapid prototyping of associated liquid analysis measurements with its 4 optical paths.

Two of the most important features of the ADPD4101 Photometric Front-End IC are the high optical signal noise ratio of up to 100 db and the high level of ambient light rejection. These allow for extreme accuracy in precision measurement applications.

  • Other important features:
  • •  On-chip digital filters allow the platform to operate at full performance regardless of lighting conditions
  • •  Benchtop instrument performance for handheld and portable applications
  • •  Up to four independent light paths can be measured simultaneously

  • Ideal applications:
  • •  Wearable health and fitness monitors: heart rate monitors (HRMs), heart rate variability (HRV), stress, blood pressure estimation, SpO2, hydration, body composition
  • •  Industrial monitoring: CO, CO2, smoke, and aerosol detection
  • •  Home patient monitoring

In this video, watch as the ADPD4101 measures quinine fluorescence, colorimetric pH, and turbidity, as quickly configured in 3 of the measurement channels.
