Reliable Wireless Sensor Network Streamlines Manufacturing Operations

Analog Devices implemented SmartMesh IP wireless technology in their Silicon Valley wafer fabrication plant (also known as a “fab”) to monitor gas pressure during the manufacturing process. In spite of a fully metal and concrete facility, no Ethernet jacks nearby, and zero tolerance for production downtime, the SmartMesh IP wireless network was implemented seamlessly into the fab. This allowed for a streamlined monitoring process, along with accurate data transfer, and high performance and reliability.
