  • Application circuit converts 12V to an isolated 9V and incorporates a current-mode PFM controller, IC1, which operates with switching frequencies to 300kHz. IC2's shunt regulator, acting as an error amplifier, sinks current when an increasing VOUT pulls the feedback voltage above its internal reference voltage
