- TIDA-00217, Reference Design is a sub-system design for NFC (Near Field Communication) and authentication. This subsystem design is intended as a reference design for part authentication, access control, personal identification, battery-less sensor interface, security token transfer and low power transfer of local data. In many systems, especially safety critical applications, it is imperative that only authentic, inspected and properly maintained parts are utilized. It describes the implementation of a subsystem capable of storing such information and communicating this data to the outside world by way of NFC or I2C/SPI/UART to a connected host controller. This reference design provides an easy method for wireless data and power transfer to any standard NFC compliant device
